Torusoft Backstage unlocks an extensive set of security and management features normally hidden on your iPhone or iPad. Backstage helps you determine what your users can do with their iDevices and sometimes more importantly, what they can't do.

The configuration for what settings you choose to manage is pushed securely over the air to your iDevices. There's no syncing, no logging in and no help desk required in order to update the configuration of any iDevice within your organization.

Backstage is robust and makes it easy to meet your organization's security requirements and device usage policies. There's no better way to deploy iDevices and take control of your mobile workforce.

Profile Security

Control whether or not users can remove configuration profiles from their iDevices. Secure configuration profiles with a passcode.

Device Passcode Security

Allow simple passcode value
- Permit the use of repeating, ascending and descending character sequences
Require alphanumeric value:
- Requires passcode to contain at least one letter
Minimum passcode length
- Set the smallest number of passcode characters allowed
Minimum number of complex characters
- Set the smallest number of non-alphanumeric characters allowed
Maximum passcode age
- Set the number of days after which the passcode must be changed
Auto-lock (1-5 minutes, or none)
- Set the amount of time elapsed before your iDevice shuts off its screen
Passcode history (1-50 passcodes, or none)
- Set the number of unique passcodes before reuse
Grace period for device lock
- Set the amount of time before your iDevice locks without asking for your passcode
Maximum number of failed attempts
- Set the number of failed login attempts allowed before your iDevice wipes itself.
